Great costume! Our four year old once again had dressed-up company in the two of us, her aunt and her nana (last year the we all had to go as the Wizard of Oz, so at least we lost the mandatory theme this year). Good time though, although we got a few odd looks. :-)

    M,
What did you go as this year? What sort of odd looks?

She is so completely adorable in that costume! I'm glad she had a good time, last year Kaitlyn wouldn't go up to any doors so we had to go up for her. This year she went right up and reached into the candy bowls, and then said "the rest of the candy is for other people"!

    Elizabeth,

That is so cute about what Kaitlyn says. I love it. Eva will probably march right up to doors next year, I am sure of it. Check back next year to see if I am even remotely correct. LOL.

That's a cute Pooh costume. And it's nice that it can be recycled for either a boy or a girl.

The bargain costume thing can sometimes work for older kids, too. I was in Target the other night, and I saw this woman getting all excited over a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) costume for only four bucks. It was a very nice one, too. It looked like it would fit a girl of maybe 7-8 years old. Perhaps it would fit this lady's daughter next year, who knows?

Whether or not the girl wants to be Dorothy for Halloween next year, who knows? LOL!

Finding these things on the cheap is great but you are right, if the kid doesn't want to be Dorothy a year later you are out of luck, but you could always sell it to a second hand store.
